Rob and Matt from GG had the pleasure in joining other professionals and the DWF team for their annual poker night held at the DWF offices in Snow Hill. It was a great night, expertly ran, with some of team DWF acting as dealers. Over 70 professionals were due to take part but readers may recollect the 1st of March as the night that Birmingham came to a standstill with the heavy snow.
Despite the chaos c40 players battled it out to win the prestigious DWF trophy. Rob was relatively quickly dispatched to the side lines but Matt kept the GG flag flying reaching the final table and ultimately the final two. Unfortunately in the box seat on the final hand an unlucky ‘flop’ did for Matt.
Very well played Matt – that’s the way luck goes sometimes.
