greenwellgleeson were fortunate enough to receive an invitation to the annual Charity Quiz Night hosted by Chartered Accounting firm Price Pearson Kidderminster on Wednesday 25th May. Joined by over 40 other teams, the night yielded an exceptional turnout and a fantastic offering to the chosen charity.
This year’s charity of choice was Freddie’s Wish – a charity whose strong desire to help others stems directly from the heart of the founder Charlotte, who tragically lost her son Freddie in a car accident in 2014. Freddie’s Wish aims to educate healthcare professionals and the wider society in the importance of offering proactive support to bereaved parents to help them through their difficult times. Check out their website now athttp://www.freddieswish.org/.
All in all over £8000 was raised for the charity, coming from generous donations, raffle prizes and a charity auction – which included some truly exceptional prizes. Our very own Managing Director; Rob Lawton, even managed to bag himself 40 tickets to Delta Force Paintballing after some intense to and fro before the gavel. greenwellgleeson plan to take full advantage of Rob’s generosity by arranging a couple of paintballing events in the near future – keep your eyes on our Monthly Newsletter and Blog here and stay in touch with our consultants to hear more!
We know a little bit about organising successful events ourselves so we commend Price Pearson Kidderminster for their effective and enjoyable running of the Quiz Night, we thank them for our invitation and we wish all of the fantastic people at Freddie’s Wish the very best of luck!
