Financial Controller

This is a traditional Number Financial Controller role reporting in to the FD of an £80million UK subsidiary of an International Group.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance function and managing a team of part qualified and transnational accountants. You will have full responsibility for the preparation of budgeting and forecasting process and reporting on variances as well as preparing and publishing all monthly financial statements.

Other key tasks include:

Creating reports which identify results/trends and forecasts
Ensuring all transactions are recorded and reported correctly
Development and documentation of processes and internal controls
Streamlining and improving all operations and accounting systems
Cashflow management and reporting
Other ad hoc tasks
General duties undertaken by a Financial Controller

The Person:

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience of working within a medium size organisation but reporting in to a larger Group. Experience of managing a Team is essential.
