Greenwellgleeson are pleased to be working with a successful manufacturing business based in Burton-On-Trent. This role will report into the Finance Director and will have direct responsibility for six members of staff. You will provide accurate and timely financial reporting of the business to local and Group management.
Key Responsibilities:
Control Company expenses, credit card reconciliations and accounting/reporting thereon.
Control foreign currency and petty cash.
Company cash management, accounting, reporting, and forecasting.
Complete VAT returns including Intrastat.
Control foreign payments to suppliers.
Stock reconciliation.
All Balance Sheet Control Accounts reconciliation.
Cash management – payments on current account and Group Treasury System (TRDB).
Month end accounts/journals.
Production of month end pack for Group Reporting
Cash book reconciliation (system) – including bank reconciliation.
Assisting with annual budgets and forecast revisions.
Any ad hoc requests by senior management.
Assist with the stocktake for UK and Ireland.
Competencies and Qualifications
To be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail
Staff Management experience
Has a Minimum of 2-5 years of prior working experience in accounting with a demonstrable background
CIMA/ACCA/ACA or IFA qualified
