Finance Controller

Greenwellgleeson are proud to be working exclusively with a Fast-growing organisation that has seen its order book unaffected by Covid.

With a strong balance sheet, the business is able to pursue opportunities acquiring new businesses, prompting a further spike in growth in the very near future. They are looking for a Financial Controller to support their growth plans and be an integral part of their future.

Responsibilities:

*

Production of the financial statements including monthly management accounts, cash flows and commentaries
*

Management of the Fixed Asset Register including Additions, Disposals and Depreciation
*

Budget and forecast management.
*

Cash-flow management
*

Liaising with auditors for year-end
*

Managing 4 people in the Finance department
*

Overseeing the finance department ensuring smooth operation and improving processes to increase efficiency.
*

Monthly bank reconciliations
*

Perform, oversee, reconcile, and submit quarterly VAT returns.
*

Completion of Annual P11Ds
*

Reconcile and prepare monthly employees’ payroll and PAYE payment to HMRC.
*

Manage adequate Insurance including renewals, claims and analysis of current requirements.
*

File Annual company Returns and perform other necessary Company Secretarial duties.
*

Supporting the Managing Director with M&A activities
*

Report financials to Managing Director and provide commentary to help with future-plans including acquisitions.

Person Specification

*

ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified
*

5+ Years post qualification Experience in SME environment
*

Management experience
*

Experience with acquisitions is desirable.
*

Strong advanced excel knowledge.
*

Familiar with fully integrated ERP software like K8 (KCS) is desirable
*

On Site – Monday to Friday
