Chief Operating Officer

Greenwell Gleeson have been retained to recruit a Chief Operating Officer for the German subsidiary of one of the fasting growing construction organisation in Europe. Reporting to the Group CEO, the role will have overall control for the leadership, development, and business management of the business unit. Key duties of the role will be to manage operations and commercial activity, implement the strategy set out by the International Leadership Team, play a leading role in sourcing, securing and delivering on projects across a range of technical construction sectors. Additionally, the COO will be accountable and responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control, while providing operational direction and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate extensive leadership experience within either the construction sector or with a complex projects led organisation. You will need to be able to a natural leader, comfortable dealing at board level and with external stakeholders as also have excellent English and German language skills.
