Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for the role of Tax Advisor to work with a well established company in the Solihull area.

Duties of the role will include:

Act as UK company specialist
*

Review all tax costs borne to evaluate if there are opportunities for consideration.
*

Monitor the plans of the company so that the tax implications of strategies or projects are understood prior to implementation and communicate with EMEA Tax &Tax Accounting Manager.
*

Act as a business partner and provide tax support and guidance to any other department.
*

Manage relationship with third-party provider of global mobility tax services.
*

Ensure that the company complies with all of its legal obligations for filing returns for Corporation Tax, Employment Tax (non –payroll and expatriates) and VAT.
*

Prepare annual Senior Accounting Officer certificate and associated background
*

Deal with any incoming correspondence from HMRC and manage audits to minimise any additional liability to the company.
*

Ensure compliance with EMEA Transfer Pricing Report.

Interface with internal and external audit for all matters related to taxes and statutory books.

*

Ensure that US GAAP deferred tax calculations and other reporting requirements are completed on a timely basis
*

UK GAAP current & deferred tax calculations for inclusion in the statutory accounts prepared on a timely basis.
*

Assist FP&A in optimizing accuracy of tax provision estimate for AOP and forecast purposes.
*

Review, update and monitor SOX compliance and FIN 48 documentation

Liaise with and report to the EMEA Tax & Tax accounting Manager on any tax accounting and reporting matters..

Skills, Qualifications, Experience:

*

Fully Qualified ACA/ CIMA/ CTA
*

At least 3 years post qualified experience
*

Experience of US GAAP
*

Self motivated and able to liaise confidently at all levels
