I am recruiting for a leading business within Worcestershire for an Interim FC for a period of 9 months.

Main purpose of the role

*

To lead the financial reporting and accounting activities across the Group ensuring they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice.

*

To lead the management reporting activities across the Group to provide analysis and insight to management and the Board.

Financial reporting and financial accounting

*

Full statutory consolidation of Group results including preparation and production of:

*

half year Interim Report
*

full year Annual Report
*

subsidiary statutory accounts

*

Provide technical accounting expertise to the Group and ensure this knowledge is disseminated to Finance personnel.
*

Help manage the process of transition to IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
*

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and documentation of the key areas of technical accounting.
*

Continual review of Group’s foreign exchange and banking position.

Management reporting

*

Completion of consolidated monthly, quarterly and other periodic management accounts and other financial reports for the Board.
*

Help manage the annual budgeting process and oversee the preparation of the Board budget pack.
*

Provide insightful financial analysis to management, including risks and opportunities, variances to budget and forecast and other specific analysis.

Personal attributes

*

Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with excellent technical skills, specifically IFRS
