FP&A Analyst / South Bham / £50k-£55k pa + bonus + bens

A newly created role within FTSE 100 business to consolidate MI from all divisions. A broad role involving Budgets & Forecasting, Financial Governance, Month end Reporting and multiple ad hoc projects.

Working closely with the newly appointed Finance Director to develop a suite of reports to analyse business performance, work with multiple stakeholders within each division therefore you require the gravitas to influence at all levels ensuring data is reported to deadlines you have set & agreed.

As this is the first role of its kind in the business it will develop, the reporting requirements will evolve so needs a professional who will challenge the assumptions, who will question the data prior to consolidation, understands the risks attached, presents to the Exec board linking the group & UK businesses to drive profitability forward.

Agree monthly reporting formats to be used to review and challenge business performance and drive compliance

Analyse and interpret sector submissions, challenging any assumptions where necessary prior to consolidation

Understand key risk areas for sectors and overall position. Capture key actions required to underpin future forecast delivery and liaise with sector analysts to ensure plans in place to measure progress

Preparation of monthly UK reporting

Respond to any Group Queries
*

Reconciliation of UK and Group financial systems
*

Set UK timetable to deliver Group and UK FD deadlines
*

Provide analysis for setting sector targets
*

Coordinate Sector submission and completion of the UK pack
*

Analysis of budget / forecast position clearly bridging revenue and profit movements from prior year and previous forecast, challenging sector assumptions
*

Support 3 year plan
*

Provide analysis as necessary to drive business performance
*

Seek continuous improvement to deliver better management information
