2016 so far…

So we are now over halfway through the year and it is fair to say that it has been a busy one so far. As a business we continue to be well spread across the whole finance spectrum from AP/AR clerks to Finance Directors . The Transactional team have really come into their own this year (headed up by Paul Hancock and ably assisted by Barry Sheldon ) and they are currently working on a variety of Payroll , Credit Control , and Purchase Ledger vacancies. At the other end of the scale our Executive division have been kept busy  with a variety of Finance Director opportunities that have come from our Corporate clients and also the VC/PE space .

In the middle candidates are at a premium so clients have to keep the recruitment process moving and when they identify a good candidate then act quickly and positively. There is still a constant demand for ACAs from practice but these candidates come to and leave the market very quickly so speed is of the essence . If the process can’t move at the required rate then perhaps an interim solution would help bridge any staffing gaps.

We are looking forward to a busy end to 2016 and we hope that the economy remains resilient to any Brexit-pressure . Should you be looking for a career change or to recruit then please drop an e-mail or call 0121 233 9911.

And Finally…

Several members of the team along with clients went to Day 3 of the recent test match at Edgbaston versus Pakistan. They were entertained by great cricket and great weather. Inspired by the professionals in the middle we then had our inaugural T20 Breeze at Moseley CC. You can read about both events here.
